I dont know of anybody else who has had problems playing gore with the myth rip, and I know that at least everyone in this clan has probably used it to install gore.

Just download it from Limewire or Kazaa.

I did it once. Worked fine.

Well, tbh, I used to use it exclusively (because I lost my CD for a long time) and I can tell you, from a billion installations, it makes NO difference.

I installed the bastard on an external HD through a USB connection and still played Gore just fine.

There is NO difference.
