I need a goodish private site so I can get good speeds etc. Why do these public sites have like 100 seeds etc but I can't connect?

prolly cuz people capped their upload limit. or check if ur DL limit isnt capped.

a private torrent is not going to make it faster. it could actually make it slower. the more people dling/uploading using that torrent the faster it will go.

Completely false darkspoon. The people on the private tracker are more likeley to seed and the people on the public tracker will just hit it and leave. On private trackers I can get like 100-500kbps I would never even dream of that on a public tracker, even though it is possible.
