seems like a good deal to me, considering Google's market capitalization climbed a little oover two billion in value with the announcement of the buyout.

A potential future problem for YouTube and any buyer, is that a great many users put up their favourite music videos and film clips, for which they have not gained copyright approval.

YouTube is a potental cash cow for Google, especially with the deals they just struck with major music and film studios. Google will not get sued, because they will start to clean up the copyrighted shit, unlike the origional owners who didn't seem to care.
