You mean he didn't release this under the GPL? That's strange cause I'm looking at the code right now, here's a snippet:

I guess it's conceivable that you rewrote something similar w/o seeing this, but...

He's released several pieces of code exploiting GameSpy and even Gore specifically, so you are clearly wrong in that regard.
