especially if you sort it alphabetically. makes it sooo much quicker than random shortcuts.

desktop is way quicker-

menu requires me to drag my mouse to start-drag it up to all programs- then over to the rest of the menu then up/down/more over to get what i want..

while on the desktop i simply move my mouse onto what i want and double click

Thats why you delete the usls shit out of there.
Like explore shortcuts, folders that are usls, delete the Default Programs or w/e. Just clean it up.

yeah they are... theyre quicker, im not complaining about having to move my mouse further im just saying that you have to move your mouse farther.. what i need is on the desktop 98% of the time.... waaaay quicker than going to the menu
