Well, it still means the end of the world for US. I don't really agree that we'll all just die off.

I actually foresee a shift in how our world works...as we start to shift towards a world society rather than countries.

I used to write a bunch of BS with a friend called "The Architecture of a World Society" with a bunch of this kinda stuff. I lost all of it with a hard drive crash, but it was pretty interesting. A lot of it worked with this original link in how our world begins to mesh together.

I don't think so...it's becoming less convenient. You can dislike someone all you want...but as I pointed out in my post above (the big one ) it is becoming more difficult to have wars, especially wars that are as insignificant as ones based on race and religion (which seem to become less extreme as a culture/society becomes educated).

(BTW I moved this to Technology/Science since this is more of a Physics and futuristic-ish thread than a political/social thread, which is really more for current events anyways)
