I got some very bad new concerning Bukowski.

I stay in contact with his half sister which informed me today that he had a very bad car accident a few month ago.

She said that he´s still alive, but he`s more near death than alive.

If I get more informations I´ll let you know guys.

Oh my god. I'm kind of speechless atm, this is terrible news. I would appreciate if you could send NWP's kindest regards, maybe give us a hospital address + room? I'd definitely send some kind of card maybe with a "really cbf you dying on us atm" or something jokingly in it (to get his spirits up sirs!)

Yeah, I'd like to send him something too - even if he isn't well enough to read or comprehend such things.

I'd like to know if he CAN read/hear/etc though or how bad it really is.

I highly doubt it. He rode his bike 10 miles a day, so he was probably hit by a car whilst biking.

Well now it all makes sense as that's about when he just went "poof" and fell off the face of the internet. Damn that sucks, BUK was a pretty cool guy. I hope he pulls through ok, I mean just knowing BUK he's not ready to die (he's got more beer to drink and hot chics to poke and more things to download).

Please keep us informed as much as u can, and thanx for the info man (was pretty cool of ya to post for us).
