does it go away? cause usually when im off the pc for a while it goes away .. dunno if its CT or just hurts cuz my arm rests on the keyboard

if you move your arm out of the uncomfortable position it will usually go away. its caused by having your wrist at a bad angle. this causes the carpal tunnel to swell and press against the Median nerve. this causes numbness or pain to the palm and fingers. but that is usually only temporary. if its bad enough you may need surgery to release the pressure on the nerve, but that would only happen if the pain never stopped. otherwise, just give the wrist a break from whatever causes the painthe swelling will go down and the pain will stop.
pretty much a "if that hurts stop doing it" situation.

last year when i was hardcore into wow, half of my left hand was numb for a few months. Kinda odd that it was my keyboard hand, but I guess since i have a wristpaded mousepad, i didn't get it there too.
It was still numb around christmas when i got guitar hero, and i was still able to do expert (barely) but now that it's gone, my skillz have gotten twice better, lawl.

I hate to admit that I've had some sore wrist days from playing too much Guitar Hero.
Guitar Hero 3 should be fun with a 7 minute Dragonforce song to play.
