Its about $320.00 or so, depending on what config ya go with.

Also with that Motherboard you can always upgrade and run Dual Video cards in it if ya want and you can always update the CPU years down the road since this is the latest CPU slot that AMD has.

You still need a hard drive, dunno if ya have one but you can get a pretty big one for 50 bucks and for $25.00 more ya can get this DVD burner and its black, would match the case nicely..worth it !

With this configuration you would be able to play just about any game and run any software available today for under $400.00
And ya can always pick up another 8600 vid card and SLI it.

It is a nice rig for the cash, the only thing I wish I could have done was get a faster CPU, I wanted to go Intel but the cost was to high, he basically wanted me to keep it under $400.00 and I did, with that vid card he will be able to play any games that he usually plays, CSS, Wolfinstien, Nexuiz, Fear and some RPG's that I never heard of (I CBF with RPG'S) so all in all it's a decent deal, he could always upgrade the CPU down the road and also the vid card, and its a SLI MB.

He doesn't know it yet but when I build it I'm gonna install PC Linux as well as XP..My reasoning for this is he surfs porn sites alot and always gets spyware etc.. and I got to clean it up for him.
He was over last weekend and I had a box I installed PC Linux in, he needed to check his E-Mail so I told him to use that computer (He didn't know it had Linux on it) when he turned on the monitor he said.."Hey This is fuckin g cool!! is this Vista? I was ROTFLMAO and said no dumbass, it's Linux with Beryl.

I think I may have a convert in the family soon Even if I just get him in the habit of booting into Linux for his porn sites he will get more and more used to it and perhaps start to use it exclusively.

PCLinux is a great distro, and it fits on a CD and includes Beryl AND automatically installs the ATI drivers, I installed it on a old box with a 64 MB ATI 9200 and it runs Beryl just as good and my Dual 7600GT box.

I read a couple weeks ago that it has surpassed Ubuntu as far as most popular distro, I still run Ultimate Ubuntu on my main box, but I may be switching over someday.
