+ thanks, i got money saved up for a badass sound system already, just gotta do some measurements and make sure 12s and an amp will fit the way id like it to, cuz im lookin to add 2 more 12's later on and another amp(cbf paying a grand just for a 4channel amp)

You're definitely not going to want to put more than two 12's in that. For one thing you're not going to have enough room for four 12's, two amps, and capacitors but you'd blow the fucking windows out of your truck if you even tried.

I just installed two 1500 watt Alpine Type R's and two 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate amps in my friends car and it hits harder than most shit I've heard, and I've been to competitions.

If you're more of a rap fan then get Alpine Type R's or if you are more into rock then get the Rockford Fosgate P3's. Don't waste money on Diamond, Blaupunkt, or any of those "competition" systems because none of it is worth a shit. As far as the amps I really like anything from Rockford Fosgate, but if its out of your price range then I'd settle with something from Kenwood.
