soo i just bought UT3.... its a dvd disc and i do have a dvd drive.... i meet and exceed the min requirments...

basically what happens is, i toss the dvd disc in and the light blinks a few times as if its trying to run it then it just stays on untill i eject or turn off. but no autorun no nothing, it doesnt show as UT3 in mycomputer or anything

Make sure the label is facing up.

And make sure your disc drive isn't actually a toaster.

Maybe your disc isn't using its resources right, open your task manager and go to resources and see if your disc drive is even running when you put a cd in.

maybe you have to clean your disc drive ... or does it work for other dvds ?

well i finally got it to work.... ive always had a problem with that dvd drive, ive never been able to burn a dvd movie but ive been able to watch it (with some trial and error) but then i always had problems trying to play DVD games, bioshock had the same thing but it eventually worked.

well my solution was that i just switched dvd drives lol, i hooked up an old one. gg

Or you could just put it into a computer with a dvd drive on your network and install the game over the network
