The Mio that was suggested seems kind of cool, and the unlocking bs is kind of a neat possible bonus feature.

From the little we've been able to see with Android, it looks pretty awesome. I think the big question is what AT&T and T-Mobile do with it. I can only get AT&T, so I'm kinda worried they're going to gay it up and then I have to unlock the damn thing (which eventually wouldn't be very difficult as the open source community would rape that pretty quick - but just having to keep up with the jailbreaks would be a hassle). I know they're pretty worried about losing a lot of control and income to the open source aspect of Android - why would people pay .99 cents for their shitty ringtones and wallpapers when you can do that all for free on the Android, etc etc.

Not that this is really the thread for this conversation (probably should start a new topic but oh well) ... but I wonder if that whole "Save the airwaves" project could play a role in the future, if you could do VoIP service over a nationwide WiFi system. Just thoughts atm. BAX2WORXFATIEZ.
