i want to add a ddns provider other than www.dyndns.com. how can i add my own? i have not found a way to add my own.

like i said i have no way of adding a custom dns provider other than the DynDNS that comes on the router. How do you add a different DNS provider other than the one(DynDNS) thats already there.

so i cant add a dns provider until i have a dns server? the dns provider is serving as the dns server. i dont think you fully understand what im asking.

how do i add my own DNS provider? I can use the DynDNS that comes on the router but i dont want to because they charge. i have my own free service id like to use but i have not figured out how to add it in place of the DynDNS.

Regarding your concern, please note that if you have your own DNS provider for LAN then you need to open ports on the router to use it. Port numbers can be obtained from application vendor.

in the highlighted area i only have one provider to choose from. that provider is dyndns.com. i dont want to use them. i have a different provider. how do i add another one to the highlighted drop down menu?
