yes you can. my sister does it. this seems easier than trying to find the ipod version.

This thread seems relevant for my question: My uncle gave me these mini-dvd-r's, and he wants me to put them all on one dvd or thumb drive. Since each one is about 1gb, they won't all fit on one; so I was thinking I could convert them to avi or another format that would condense the size of the raw footage down (each 1gb is about 20mins). The format they are on the discs now are .vob, but there are other files (menus I think?) that are on it and I don't know what they are for. Here is what is on the discs:

Folder on disc: Video_TS

Files in folder: Video_TS.vob ; Video_TS.BUP ; Video_TS.IFO ; VTS_01_0.BUP ; VTS_01_0.IFO ; VTS_01_1.vob (the actual video) ; VTS_01_2.vob (no idea what this is.)

So if anyone could help me consolidate about 7 of these discs onto one or two dvd's or AVI format at least, would appreciate it a lot.
