    it was badass until the end. big deal he cut a hollow metal pole. those swords are stronger than average steel. i saw them make it on some show. pretty interesting.

    Yeah, the pipe cutting didn't really impress me. Everything else was seemingly impossible though.

    I think the impressive thing is supposed to be that he didn't cut the wooden table while cutting the iron pole in half. The fact that he can exert enough force to cut through the iron but control it enough not to cut anything else is impressive.

    ^ lol yeah, that's what I was thinking....

    Wouldn't it be more difficult to cut a solid wood table like that anyways, since it's softer? At least, the textures of a solid wood table and a hollow tube of lead are different enough to where he'd know when to pull up...

    no as you can see from the reactions they were impressed with him cutting metal with a sword. the slow motion was just so you could see it cutting. no one was amazed at the table not being cut.
