What do you think? All obvious facts aside that the psp is clearly hardware dominant and impressive, but with games, and usefulness?

In my opinion being an owner of a ps3, i have a system that will give me my FPS's and RPGS and shit, so i figured if i got a PSP go, i would just be having the same thing, but portable, with a slight downfall in graphics.

If i got a DSI i would be able to relive my childhood which i threw out at the age of 13 after selling my n64 for a ps2, and be able to play my precious pokemanzzzz and other such things.

I was leaning towards the DSI due the the fact i wante to play little bullshit games that would entertain me and not have to go do a fucking mission that required a escort, and not tripping the alarms. I'D RATHER CATCH MYSELF A DARKRAI.

So what do you think NWP FORUM? ENJOYMENT? OR SERIOUS GO NESS ON THE GO FPSING.

I've always preferred playing the casual type shit on portables. If I wanted to play an FPS or RPG game that isn't 2D then I'd definitely want to do that on a home console like a PS3 or Xbox 360.

Who gives a fuck about the hardware and what it can do, the only important thing on a portable console are the games. Just take a look at the existing and upcoming games on each and see what you'd rather be playing.

DS games are definitely more often than not enjoyable. I could list off a few that I've found to be pretty good, and as you mention, it's about the enjoyment of the games. I would definitely get the DSI for Scribblenauts, that game looks totally badass. I'll prolly preorder a copy tomorrow at my local GameStop.

I've never used a PSP, but I don't think you can go wrong with a DS. The new GTA game for DS is phenomenal. I love old platforming type games, so I bought Kirby Superstar Ultra, which I love. Yoshi's Island DS looks awesome. The Mario games are all good, etc. etc. Overall a great library of games, and not just the regular Nintendo ones (Mario, Zelda, etc.)

I don't own any of the Pokemon games, but I bet they're probably pretty fun. I played the older games as a kid and I remember the gameplay being pretty solid and there are lot of hours to spend playing it. The new Pokemon games have been popular as fuck and are selling like mad, so they must be good.

There's a new Final Fantasy Tactics game for DS as well. I haven't played it, but I've played the PS1 and GBA versions, and I've played through them a few times each.

    Also, Scribblenauts.

    Seriously, that game trumps everything.

Yep, that's what I got. Right now, my DSLite is doubleteaming Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin for DS and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for GBA. Another game you guys need to get is The World Ends With You, probably the best game on the DS imo. I couldn't put that shit down at all, I played all the way through (a good 10 hours or more of story play) in about 3 days.

There's also Professor Layton and The Curious Village that's great for those that like puzzle games with a sequel coming out at the end of the month. It's got a very enjoyable storyline, kinda kidish, but the puzzle games in it are definitely top notch. A similar game to this is Hotel Dusk: Room 215 which is more like a mystery novel than a puzzle game. It still has it's puzzle like theme where you play as a detective trying to understand everything that's going on in this hotel.

The Pokemon games are always good, I have Diamond and Platinum and almost played through both. (at Elite 4 on Platinum) They're also remaking Gold and Silver for the DS as well, dunno if I'll buy one, but that's still pretty awesome.

You got Chrono Trigger on the DS also, another game I couldn't put down once I started. I have all the Trigger games now on each system it's been released on, SNES, PS, and DS, and it's never gotten old. The DS version also has some added zone after you beat the game, I haven't got to it yet, still trying to get all the endings.

I didn't play the FFT game on DS, but my friend has it and said it was decent, but there's also the remade versions of FF III and FF IV which kick some ass.

My brother got me Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword a year ago and I found it to be pretty entertaining. It's pretty short, but it has a unique combat style that I liked a lot. It's the only NG game I've played, however, so I don't know where it stands with other ones.

Lastly, I just got Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and once again, I couldn't stop playing it. If you've played any of the other games in the series, you'll find this one to be just as good and then some. Has real good replay value and the two character combat was a great addition that I enjoyed. There's two other Castlevania games on DS, Dawn of Sorrow (sequel to Aria of Sorrow) and Order of Ecclesia. Now that I've played PoR, I'm really interested in playing the other two as well.

These are all the games I can think of off the top of my head, I know there's a shit ton more out there that are just as good. The PSP might have the graphics and such, but DS obviously wins in game enjoyment.

Thanks guys, Im going with a DSI, Although the DS lite has a GBA slot, it didnt really captivate me since i can get a well working GBA emulator. The DS games are what i perfer.

Also the DSI has twice the processing speed and it actually has 256mb of ram on it, which the DS does not. (probably no difference) but i like that kind of shit. The screen since is defintly a plus i always remember having to use a magnifying glass on my old GBC. I just bought my GF pokemon platinum at good will for 10 dollars, and GH for DS.

Im going to buy pearl or diamond, and probably scribblenaughts too.
