THIS IS WHY WE DONT LIKE AUSTRIANS.

also : using rivatuner might cut the life expectancy of your fans, but it sounds like it wouldn't really matter

NVM I STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS

really cbf having to buy a new fan, or figure out what rpms the heatsink fan is supposed to operate at.

downloaded speedfan, my fan has been resting at 1688 rpm's and only increasing to low 2000s when temp increases. seems like it should be way more. cbf

you can buy a teg case fan that's the same size as your current can or just buy a new heatsink for your processor. either way its npt that expensive.

Your fan is running at a normal RPM.

If your heat sink is seated correctly and it isn't cracked or some shit, I'd assume your issue lies in broken sensors. To see if your heat sink is seated properly you'll want to touch it and see if it is warm. Obviously unplug your computer and make sure you are grounded before you do that. If it's cold then you'll need to re-seat.

Picking up a new heatsink and/or case fan is obviously less expensive and annoying than replacing your whole rig

Heat sinks don't just break. I hope you checked to make sure it was seated properly before wasting money on a new one.
